It all began back in the day locking into Pirate Radio around the age of 12 discovering a new sound and locking into stations like ICE FM, London Underground, Taste and Upfront FM. Prior to this the likes of Dream and Don FM got me hooked with the diverse genre’s of underground music.

As years went by from collecting flyers and listening and developing my style I was able to learn mixing between an old turn table and a tape deck. When I was 15 I got some Soundlabs then moved onto Technics around 16 slowly building up garage selection.

Moving on and trying to establish myself I was able to get a brief set on Delight FM then moving onto Vybe, Freeze, Touch FM and select UK.

When freeze came to an end managed to get a set on Flex which was local to me as all the others used to an hour drive which made things easier.

Over the years it’s been great to meet so many people and share the music over the airwaves. Recently I’ve dropped a track on the Pirate Cutz label which was great a this was first vinyl release.

Flex has been a home since 2009 and have much respect for allowing me to showcase my style of garage music over the years.

The future’s great as garage music is still very much alive and new productions are bringing back the sound of how it used to be.

As always you I try to push new music and always heavily vet the sounds and push the music I believe in. Flex has stood the test of time and will be here to deliver the diverse.
