Gavin page aka Gaps is head of Bon Appetit Records, which is a global collective of producers/Dj’s hailing from diverse places such as Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Australia, Israel, USA and the UK! They formed over a mutual love for the deep, dusty, low-slung side of underground house. influenced and informed by wonky, jazzy vibes, golden era hip hop aesthetic, world music rhythms, chopped and filtered disco grooves and old school garage swing, all preserved and released on vinyl. They have been concentrating on putting on label parties over the last year, a format where they feature labels they admire, as well as managing to gather various worldwide members of the collective team together to play and party! Now set to put out a new vinyl ep, as well as dipping their toes into digital releases and ending the year a big xmas party!
