With his 2017 Releases #itsThatReal & Face On The Page receiving credit from the MOBO’s, plus attention from Local Newspapers, he was also named “Artist Of The Week” on the #ratemeplz show on Radar Radio voted by Sian Anderson, DJ Melody Kane, Remell London & Abdi Tv for Face On The Page.
JDefianT has had radio plays on American Radio Station Rhythm Rave Radio & UK Stations including 1Xtra, BBC introducing, Flex FM, Radio Kent, Dejavu FM, RADAR Radio, Streetwise FM, Reprezent Radio, Mode FM, Don City & More.
JDefianT’s self-funded debut mixtape, “Story So Far”, reached number #3 on the Mixtape Madness weekly chart in 2013, with Singles “Musical Intercourse” & “Come Around” receiving plays on Radio 1 by DJ Target & Radio 1xtra by DJ Cameo, plus “Time to Hit The Belly” was made Rep Dat TV’s “Track Of The Week”.
Fast forward to 2018 and JDefianT’s 3rd Solo ep entitled “Far From Famous” is out now on all major platforms and is already receiving high reviews from listeners, DJ’s and music journalists and local radio with plays on Flex FM, BBC 1xtra and all over England & Colarado, US.
